I got the idea for Inspired Path in 2020, when the global pandemic upended everyone’s normal. A longtime resume nerd and self-described editing enthusiast, I started hearing from friends who wanted resume help. Then friends of friends started reaching out as more and more people faced layoffs, unsafe working conditions, and economic uncertainty.

Then I met Donni Jones, a stellar freelance resume writer. We quickly discovered a shared desire: to help marginalized people land better jobs. With this vision in mind, we created the first iteration of Inspired Path.

Now, Inspired Path has evolved. I never hand off a finished product. Instead, I begin with a conversation about you and your needs, and I coach you through everything I’m going to do to get you started, I walk with you as far as you want, and I provide you with a map to where you want to go. Part editing, part coaching, I make sure that you feel confident in your story.
